Songbird – Mozilla’s Music Player
SemiPro’s Review
While Mozilla might not have made songbird themselves, this open source music player is devolped with the Mozilla framework and has Firefox integrated with it. So if you want to label it a Mozilla program, feel free to do so. Ok, on with the review. This is really an awesome music player. Out of the box, it looks like iTunes mixed with Wamp. But it’s more then that. It has a internet browser, where you can go to the Songbird addon site and install addons directly into the player. It has advanced song search and sorting options. There are tons of plugins, extensions, and themes to install from Sondbird’s site. My favorite is “Lyric Master” which searches for the song lyrics and puts them in a sidebar next to your play list. It’s really handy. If you like Mozilla, and listen to music, give this player a try.
